Abstract
PEVOS is a program to evaluate different forms of stuttering therapies in Germany over a time period of two years after the therapy. The concept was developed by a group of therapists and scientists - initiated by the German stuttering association - and tries to include up to 1000 patients. Emotions and attitudes will be measured with questionnaires and speech fluency data will be obtained by telephone calls. It will be discussed how this project is related to the efforts of the German stuttering association in promoting the development of quality standards for stuttering therapy.
